Aleighsa Wright Outreach Specialist

Aleighsa Wright is the Outreach Specialist for the St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program, where she leads community engagement, public outreach initiatives, and marketing for the program. In this role, she designs and implements outreach campaigns, coordinates stewardship events, designs public-facing communications, and supports citizen science and stewardship efforts.
A Florida State University graduate with a degree in Professional Communications, Aleighsa is also an illustrator and graphic designer inspired by sunshine, saltwater, and all things Florida. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her on or in the water, exploring state parks, or soaking up the charm of “Old Florida.”
With a background in design, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship, she’s passionate about connecting people to the places they love. Her passion for community engagement extends beyond her job—she serves on the Bay County Audubon Society committee, participates in Frog Watch USA, and volunteers with the Panhandle Terrapin Project, connecting with both people and wildlife across the panhandle.
