St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program’s Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan
A guide to Protect and Restore our Bays Together
The St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program (SASJBEP) has worked with stakeholders from across the watershed to determine the priority issues that we will work together to address over the next ten years. The Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) serves as a blueprint to characterize priority issues and a guide for implementing actions we can all take to protect and restore our bays together.
Highlights from the CCMP
8 priority issues
Our partners identified eight priority issues that if addressed would have measurable benefits to the Bays.
4 focus areas
The CCMP is organized into four focus areas that capture the goals the Estuary Program and our partners will be working toward meeting over the next 5 years.
28 actions
Partners identified 28 actions divided among the four focus areas that we will work to achieve over the next 10 years.
Activities galore!
Within each of the actions there are numerous activities and many of which are already ongoing!
