About Us Advisory Committees

Our advisor committees are organized into three major groups:

Responsibilities: The STC Advisory Committee will provide science and technical advice to the Management Council and Estuary Program staff on the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP) through the process of creating the first CCMP and then shifting into the implementation of the CCMP.

Members: The STC Advisory Committee will be composed of a range of scientists and technical experts from the public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors recommended by the Management Council and Policy Board.

Community Action (CA) Advisory Committee

In addition the CA committee will provide advice on community resiliency needs, adaptation challenges, and methods to enhance the public understanding and community support.

Members: The Community Action Advisory Committee will be composed of citizens and stakeholders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors representing the communities throughout the watershed.

Development and Finance (DF) Advisory Committee
